4-H Fundraisers
During April 2011, the Leaders’ Association decided that Jefferson County 4-H would participate in two collection type fundraisers. These fundraisers involve buying items rather than selling them. When you make a qualifying purchase at either McDonalds or Kwik Trip, a portion of that money will go back into Jefferson County 4-H. Here is how you can participate-
1. McDonalds Restaurants: McDonalds Restaurants in SE Wisconsin have allocated funds for a supply of educational games/equipment, science products, and recreational products featured on the Neighbors Program Website for a limited time. McDonalds’ in Jefferson, Dodge, Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Sheboygan, Walworth, Waukesha and Washington Counties are the only restaurants participating. When you make a purchase (whether is be $.49 or $20), save the reciept and bring them to the 4-H office for collection. The office can only turn the reciepts in as lots of 500, so a lot of participation will be needed in order to make this event a success. 2. Milk Moola and Donuts to Dough: Kwik Trip Inc. developed this program in which the Jefferson County Leaders Association can exchange caps, bag tops and glazer donut price stickers for cash. Please save these items and bring them to the UW-Extension office for collective redemption. Here is a list of items from which the caps, bag tops (milk moola), and glazer price stickers can be from:
