Check the 4-H Member Enrollment Guide, page 4, for your “cheat sheet”. You can now run reports, labels, and much more from your own home.

Nominating Committee

Candidacy for Director on the Leader     A Nominating Committee consisting of three members and chaired by the Past President will recruit and present the candidates for office at the April Board meeting and will publish their statement of candidacy in the 4-H newsletter prior to the election of directors at the May Association meeting. Candidates must be members in good standing who have served as a leader for at least one year immediately preceding the election.  (an adult leader must be “certified” to be a member; or it can be a youth leader)

2013 – Hoffmann, Stendel, Telfer and Wiedenhoeft

Current Directors includes:
New Elections will be held in May 2012.  New fiscal year will be July 1, 2012 – June 30, 2013.
All terms expiring September 30, 2011 will be extended through June 30, 2012.

•  March 15 - MANDATORY (Fair discussion, Budget will be presented by the Treasurer for the next fiscal year.  The new fiscal year is July 1 – June 30).  The independent member should be in attendance.

• August 16 - MANDATORY (Enrollment)
•  October 18

 No meetings to be held in December, January and July

Junior Leaders

All enrolled 4-H youth, grades 7 and above, are members of the Jefferson County 4-H Jr. Leaders Organization. This group plans social and educational events for its members and other 4-H youth. Check this calendar and watch the 4-H Family Newsletter for dates, times and places of meetings and activities.

The Jr. Leaders Board is made up of elected youth who serve the Jr. Leaders Organization and the Jefferson County 4-H program by helping to set programmatic policy in cooperation with the Leaders Association.

The Jr. Leaders and Board are vital components of the Jefferson County 4-H program. Jefferson County 4-H strives to work as a team – youth and adults – to create programs with youth, not for youth.

The following youth leaders make up the Jr. Leaders Board for 2011-2012:
